Android 5.0 in the Google X-Phone?

Android 5.0 in the Google X-Phone?

The mysterious Darth Vader in the Google-Motorola line up is the X Phone, so long in the coming that the actual release may be a bit of a let down. One of the latest rumors making the rounds, based on benchmark sightings, is that the X-Phone will come equipped with Android 5.0 or Key Lime Pie. Motorola is running at a loss and Google is pinning hopes on the X-phone to create a turnaround. The X-phone is also one on which Motorola is pinning its hopes.

Rumors abound about this phone. We had a whisper you could customize the phone from the hardware angle. Then we had the one about the logo at the back actually being a button in disguise. Techies rumored it would stand up tall against the likes of the HTC One and Samsung S4.  The latest rumor is that the device will have Lime Pie and could possibly debut in July this year or even earlier at the Google I/O in May. Google and Motorola have an understanding in place to launch new devices by June or July. Then again, there are conflicting reports that the Google X or Nexus 5 may not take the stage at the I/O but it will be the Nexus 4 from LG. The Nexus 4 has LTE and CDMA, compatible with Sprint and Verizon services.
